DESCRIPTION:Lammas/Lughnasadh\, celebrated on August 1\, marks the first harvest on the Wheel of the Year and invites us to pause in gratitude for what is ripening within and around us. \nIt invites us to pause at the threshold of the first harvest—to honor what has ripened\, what is still becoming\, and the uncertainty that often lives between planting and receiving. As summer begins its gentle turn toward autumn\, we gather in gratitude for the Earth\, for the work of our hands and hearts\, and for the abundance already present. This is a time to rest\, reflect\, and listen for what is ready to be gathered\, shared\, preserved\, or lovingly released. \nTogether\, we will celebrate through seasonal harvest foods\, an intuitively crafted tea blend\, a simple make-and-take Seed & Harvest Bundle\, and a fire ceremony. We will honor what has come to fruition\, sit tenderly with what may not have unfolded as hoped\, and choose the seeds\, wisdom\, and intentions we wish to carry forward. This gathering is an invitation to receive the goodness of the season\, nourish one another in community\, and remember the sacred rhythm of giving\, receiving\, tending\, and letting go. \nWhat to bring: \n\nCome with your curiosity\, a beginner’s mind\, and a willingness to play\, reflect\, and connect\nA seasonal food\, fruit\, vegetable\, flower\, herb\, or other offering from your own harvest to share with the community\, if you feel called\nA camping chair for the fire ceremony\nA journal and pen\, if you would like space for personal reflection\nA water bottle\nAny instrument you would like to bring to play\nMost of all\, bring yourself exactly as you are.\n\nYou are invited to choose the exchange that feels most comfortable and aligned for you. \n**Location near Independence and Sharon Amity. DESCRIPTION:Join me for a Summer Solstice Celebration to pause and honor all your hard work over the past 6 months. We will soak in all the abundance\, love and the beautiful light the sun has to offer as it pours into every aspect of your being. Relish in this light and allow the sun to fill you with its vitality and power throughout the summer months. We will feast on summer harvests of fruits and veggies\, create a despacho offering for Pachamama to connect to our Great Mother and the Stars\, gather around the fire and enjoy the company of one another. \nA despacho is an Andean ceremony where we build a prayer bundle of offerings to Pachamama\, a gift as an energetic exchange for healing and re-establishing divine harmony and protection. This living embodiment of our landscape of life that meets at the level of soul and connects to all creation. Traditionally\, we perform this ceremony on each earth cycle to renew and re-imprint the powers of nature for our luminous body to bring in the light. Each item of offering represents a prayer/gift of power that sparks momentum for energy shifts and profound healing. In this we honor Pachamama\, our ancestors\, our reflections of the year and give it to the fire to transmute what we are letting go/what we wish to bring in for ourselves and the collective. \nWhat to bring: \n\nJournal/pen\nCushion to sit on inside as we co-create the despacho\nInstrument to play by the fire if you wish\nCamping chair for sitting by the fire\n\nTo Register\, simply email Shawn HERE or RSVP below that you would like to attend.
