Shawn began her herbal medicine journey with essential oils over 10 years ago to explore an alternative way of supporting herself and her family. The medicine cabinet quickly began to diminish as she learned the power of plants and how they could create a more holistic way of healing. After experiencing adrenal fatigue, hormonal disruptions and neurotoxicity, it was only natural to explore deeper into food and plants as medicine. She delved into creating herbal tea blends to detox the body, support hormones, calm the nervous system and support all the various aspects of not just the physical body but the emotional, mental and spiritual. Together with her son, they would set a selection of herbs and ask what their body needed at the time. Intuitively, they began to learn to connect with the herbs to speak who could support the most. This time of connection with her son, her body and the plants was beyond evident that there was a profound co-creation happening.

While her love for herbs and creating tea blends has mostly been for her enjoyment, the joy of sharing this with her workshops, classes and clients over the last few months began to light her up. After recovering from a concussion, she found this joy in listening to the herbs that wanted to be part of certain blends for ceremonies, seasons and the energy of classes. There is an intuitive, alchemical magic that occurs with each tea blend are created that goes beyond supporting the physical body.
