Spring Equinox is the time we celebrate the coming to life of things within us and around us, the day of equal balance of light and dark. Notice what is new life is springing up around us, what nature is presenting and reflecting in our lives. After the dark days of winter, we begin to feel ourselves coming alive again. From now until the Summer Solstice the days will become longer shining its light to support deeper levels of growth and abundance. We take this time to pause and reflect what 2024 has brought so far. All those seeds planted in winter are now beginning to sprout and needing nurtured. On this day we lean into finding our balance within and around us.

Join us at Sacred Roots Cabin to celebrate the Spring Equinox as we co-create a despacho prayer bundle. A despacho is an Andean ceremony where we build a prayer bundle of offerings to Pachamama, a gift as an energetic exchange for healing and re-establishing divine harmony and protection. This living embodiment of our landscape of life that meets at the level of soul and connects to all creation. Traditionally, we perform this ceremony on each earth cycle to renew and re-imprint the powers of nature for our luminous body to bring in the light. Each item of offering represents a prayer/gift of power that sparks momentum for energy shifts and profound healing. In this we honor Pachamama, our ancestors, our reflections of the year and give it to the fire to transmute what we are letting go/what we wish to bring in for ourselves and the collective.
